Data You Give Us Directly
A query entered in a page search tool is sent to the provider operating that tool. Forrest County Court Docket does not keep a separate docket-query log. If a visitor sends an email, the message and contact details may be retained to respond or administer the request, unless a legal obligation requires a different disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most websites, the service may receive technical visit data such as an IP address, browser and device information, referring location, pages viewed, timestamps, and approximate usage measures. Cookies or comparable technology may support analytics and site operation. Browser controls can limit cookies, although some functions may then behave differently.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and contact data may be used to operate and secure the service, diagnose errors, understand aggregate traffic, respond to messages, send a search request to the applicable provider, and support advertising or referral arrangements. We do not sell a visitor's personal data as a court-record product.
No Court-Record Data on File
Forrest County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. It provides routing information for the offices that do hold records, including the Forrest County Circuit Clerk, Chancery Clerk, Justice Court, and municipal court custodians. Official electronic court access is governed by MEC, PAMEC, court rules, and applicable law. Mississippi Public Records Act procedures, including Mississippi Code ยง25-61-5, do not displace court sealing, youth-record, or redaction limits.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside providers operate the search widgets. Their privacy notices, retention periods, security practices, and sharing rules apply to data submitted through their services. Review the provider's terms before sending a search. Forrest County Court Docket does not control the information a provider returns or the provider's prices.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Mississippi court, county, city, clerk, archive, or partner pages. Once a visitor opens an external service, that service's privacy policy controls. The same applies to third-party advertising and analytics technology that may operate on external pages.
Who Might See Your Data
Access may be provided to service providers that operate site infrastructure, analytics, advertising, or a submitted search; to personnel handling a message; or to a government authority when a valid legal process requires disclosure. Data is not sold as a consumer report or court-record compilation.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for information held by the service. Internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed to be risk free, so no absolute security promise is made.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact the service if you believe a minor provided information so the concern can be reviewed. Youth Court information has separate legal protections and should be requested through the proper official channel.
Your Data Rights
A visitor may ask about personal information held by the service, request correction where appropriate, request deletion subject to legal and operational needs, or ask about certain processing choices. Mississippi's court-record access boundaries and MEC privacy guidance may control official-record questions; requests for an official docket or protected court file must go to the originating court or clerk.
